Estate sale treasure

I rarely shop estate sales in my area because "estate sale" tends to be used interchangeably with "overpriced stuff".  But I'm so glad I did today because I found some wonderful treasures at affordable prices.

Without further ado, on to the goodies!

This oriental rug is in colors I've been wanting for my entry.  (I already had the dog.)  It is in excellent condition, and was a good investment at $5.00 (the rug, not the dog; he has cost a lot more than that!  but he's worth it).

It could be a little bigger, but it warms the entry up.

Hmmm, I see the rug still has a little "roll" to it from being rolled up... It's amazing how the camera sees what the eye doesn't.  (That's another way of saying I'm not taking the picture again.)

Because I love anything vintage garden, I've been wanting a vintage watering can for a long time.  I could not believe it when I stumbled onto this vintage watering can at the sale for $2.50.

And then there is this treasure that will work with all my blue and white china.  It's fairly large; it measures 16" across.  Love it!

So I had a very successful and fun morning.  Wishing you treasure today!
